My 30 before 30 Project {an update}

I've been kind of neglecting my 30 before 30 project. I've completed a few items on my list as of lately, & haven't given them much love on the blog. So, I feel like an update is necessary to show that I actually am making progress on this list! :)

14. Advance my career [promotion...]
While I didn't get a promotion at the company I was working at... I did land myself a new job with a new company that is a step up from what I was doing. More responsibilities, more creativity & it's in Portland :) (& what I recently learned is that there are jobs out there where you stay busy all the time, you dont have time to surf the internet & you do make a value contribution overall... this is that kind of job :)

16. Go wine tasting

Back in April, Luke & I went to two different very fun wineries. I discovered a new wine that I absolutely love; ice wine. Although I had been wine tasting before (like years and years ago) I had wanted to start going again. I see many trips coming up this summer in Oregon!

18. Visit a "new" city each year

Nashville. Although we didn't spend much time there, it still counts! :p We also went to San Diego - that was a new city for me!! :)

21. Purchase a cute lil cruiser bike with a wicker basket attached to the front
I have been wanting a lil cruiser bike with a wicker basket f-o-r-e-v-e-r! I finally decided to take the plunge & just buy one instead of just talking about wanting one. I'm sure happy I did :)

30. Move into a much better living space

I did! Although the place that I am staying is temporary until Luke & I can buy a house together. It is such an improvement from the space I was living in previously. I am renting a room from a sweet girl that I used to work with at the Trail Blazers. I have a huge space & my own bathroom!

a quick recap of my list.
