the dress...
Okay I lied. I've been such a bad blogger (I blame you, busy job!) The few times that I do manage to get a post published, it's a wedding related one. I did something I swore I would never do... I turned this blog into a wedding blog. Oops. I’m sorry everyone. I'm gonna try real hard to get things back to normal around here. I've been taking tons of photos - so maybe I can get one of those posts up. Bare with me, friends! All will be good with the blog in no time ;)
(and back to wedding stuff) I went into my first appointment at the bridal boutique this past Saturday with a clear idea that I wanted a very simple, flowy/beachy dress. I was dead set on having it that I was sooooooo close to clicking the purchase button on one I found online. Well, I tried one on & didn't like it. At all. Luckily, we had an amazing bridal consultant that picked up on my personal style & brought in a few dresses to just try out. Low and behold, she brought in THE dress. It's the dress that I tried on three different times during my appointment. She kept coming up with more ways to make it more awesome... Add these dangly earrings, add this accessory... And that was it. And rather quick too.
I thought I had a pretty good idea of what kind of dress I wanted going into our appointment, but I ended up absolutely loving a dress that I never thought I would pick out for myself. It's not only just a wedding dress, it's the dream wedding dress. When I picture myself as a bride, this is the dress I picture myself in. I'd share a picture with you all, but Luke reads my blog, so it'll remain a secret :)

Not the actual dress, but one that I absolutely loved, too.
I can tell that you're smitten!!! You certainly found it :)
