Movie Night @ Wrigley Field

Wednesday, August 22, 2012

Whenever Luke goes back to Chicago, he always tries to make a Cubs game. This year, they were out of town when we visited, womp womp. We did however find a way to make it inside Wrigley Field though! Groupon was hosting a movie night & they were showing the Blues Brothers, the ultimate Chicago movie. It was definitely a fun experience... Drinking beers in the bleacher seats on a (very, very, very) hot summer evening. It was almost too hot though, at 99 degrees & extreme humidity (I’m from Oregon remember…). Redbox was an additional sponsor of the event, handing out fleece blankets to everyone in attendance. Which seemed crazy at first, since it was so damn hot, but ended up being the perfect cushion in the bleacher seats.

If you ever get the chance to watch a movie at a major league park, do it! They’ve been doing this all over the country this summer!

Looking quite gross in the humidity

I recently started a new link party on my blog that is exclusively for traveling and experiencing different places. If you could hop on over and link this post or any other 'traveling' post, I would be so grateful! Thanks so much!
